Caitlyn Fields, Junior Research Specialist

Caitlyn earned her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Oregon. She originally joined the Casey lab for the summer of 2014 as an undergraduate intern where she was working on projects for the Center for Sustainable Materials Chemistry (CSMC) trying to formulate novel gallium clusters. She is currently a Junior Research Specialist and will be working on aluminum, uranium, and high-pressure projects throughout the lab.

She will attend the University of Wisconsin in Madison to pursue her PhD in Chemistry in the fall of 2017. She has also accepted a 10-week internship at Eli Lilly in Indianapolis for the summer of 2017.
