Get involved in research projects in the Osterloh lab! Our research projects focus on the preparation, modification and study of inorganic colloidal particles and their aggregates. The results from this research are relevant to micro-electronics, energy conversion and storage, and applicable to chemical sensing. Besides  IR and UV/vis spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy, all projects in the group make extensive use of electron and atomic force microscopy. Please visit our research project pages to learn more about our
on-going projects.

Graduate Students

We are seeking graduate students interested in working in an interdisciplinary environment that involves synthetic chemistry,
surface/nanostructure preparation and characterization. Find out more about applying to the department of chemistry by
visiting our departmental web page.

Undergraduate Students

There are opportunities for undergraduates to gain valuable research experience while contributing to the group's research
efforts. To learn more about research opportunities for undergraduates, check out our webpages and see what interests you.
