Anne joined the Cramer Lab Group as an undergraduate researcher in April 2017. She is interested in applications of spectroscopy in the study of protein mechanisms.



Gerson Navarrete
Undergraduate Student Researcher

Gerson is a 4th year undergraduate student majoring in Pharmaceutical chemistry in UC Davis. Interested in developing future pharmaceuticals and methods of understanding chemicals. His primary goal is to provide alternatives to common types of medicine. He plans to apply to pharmacy school 2017.



Alexander Jackson
Summer Student

Alexander is a high school Junior from Santa Cruz, CA. Last summer, he worked as a summer intern at UCSC (under Prof. Shaowei Chen) investigating nanoparticle catalysts and fuel cell electrochemistry. Currently, he does genetic work with the Lab of Molecular Ecology and the Evolution of Fishes at the Long Marine Lab. Next year, he will be studying in Indonesia as a Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES Abroad) Scholarship Awardee through the U.S. State Department. State Department.

Justin Okamoto
Summer Student

Justin is an undergraduate student majoring in chemical engineering at UC Davis. He's an active member of the California Aggie Marching Band-uh here at UC Davis and enjoys playing his clarinet in the band. He loves deep conversations, long walks on the beach, miniature versions of things and jello.



Jiaqi Song
Summer Student

Jiaqi Song is an undergraduate student in department of chemistry at Renmin University of China. He has finished the project "Cooperation of Amphiphilicity and Crystallization for Regulating Self-Assembly of Poly(ethylene glycol)-block-poly(lactic acid) Copolymers" in Yapei Wang' lab. Now he's doing a project focusing on the mechanism of nitrogenase with Ziliang Mao in Professor Cramer's lab.

William Chen
Visiting High School Student

William will be a junior next year at Lynbrook High School in San Jose. He loves learning about math and science, and has competed in robotics before. In his free time, he enjoys playing piano and clarinet, running, and doing parkour.

Gregory Xie
Visiting High School Student

Gregory is a rising junior at Gunn High School. He enjoys working with lasers in industrial settings and designing gearboxes for robotics. He also mentors at MakeX helping visitors work on their projects and teaching them how to use both traditional machine tools and rapid prototyping machines.
