Join Us
Get involved in research projects in the Osterloh lab! Our research projects focus on the preparation and study of inorganic colloidal particles and their aggregates. The results from this research are relevant to energy conversion and storage, water purification, and biomass to fuel conversion. Besides  electrochemistry, IR and UV/vis spectroscopy, many projects in the group make extensive use of electron and atomic force microscopy. Please visit our research project pages to learn more about our on-going projects, or contact us at osterloh@chem.ucdavis.edu.

Graduate Students
We are seeking graduate students interested in working in an interdisciplinary environment that involves synthetic chemistry, surface/nanostructure preparation and characterization.

Find out more about applying to the department of chemistry by visiting our departmental web page.

Undergraduates
There are opportunities for undergraduates to gain valuable research experience while contributing to the group's research efforts.

To learn more about research opportunities for undergraduates, check out our webpages and see what interests you.
